The Aluminum Scaffolding Tower has been designed to combat the normal efficiency barriers to using low-height to high-height access equipment and their inferior design. By maximizing the use of the scaffolding’s structural properties within the frame, this scaffold tower is a 50.8mm diameter tube of 2.0mm wall thickness. It thus negates frame flex or ‘wobble,’ which is such a health and safety problem at great height. Aluminum Scaffolding Towers, such as this one, are designed for commercial use as part of an HVAC installation, airport terminal ceiling access work etc. This is an industrial grade scaffold tower with maximum stability and internal access security for loads of up to 900KG in total, ideal for large scale work.

Targeted Applications
- Commercial Infrastructure & Airports: The frame is 1.35m wide, making it ideal for large equipment to be raised into ceiling-mounted areas for fault finding of HVAC, fire sprinkler, and lighting grid systems, etc. The working area is large enough for you to complete work comfortably.
- Industrial Plant & Equipment Maintenance: The height of 1.35m between the bottom of the platform and the top of the tower frame provides great space to carry out maintenance of Structural Steel as well as to calibrate heavy machinery.
- High-Rise Façade & External Projects: Available in heights up to 40m using wall ties and outriggers, and will replace your expensive and time-consuming steel scaffolding.
FAQ
What does the 900KG load capacity of the tower mean for individual platform safety?
- 900KG load capacity is the combined weight of all platforms, plus the weight of the tower base, plus the weight of the heavy-duty casters. For each individual platform (as detailed above), the platforms comply with EN 1004 Class 3. The maximum uniformly distributed load (UDL) permitted on the platform surface is 200 kg/m². So 2 people plus tools and accessories on a platform will be safe.
What safety measures do I need to take to set up this scaffolding tower to 40m?
- Aluminum mobile towers must be set up within the freestanding height (outdoor: 8m, indoor: 12m) with due consideration to the relevant safety rules. For working at heights of up to 40m the tower must be secured to a solid wall using rigid wall ties at the spacings specified by our engineers. The extended stabilizer(s) must be unfolded and left at the base. On all working levels, toe-boards (safety boards) must be set up, and on both sides of the working platform, double guardrails must be installed to rule out any risk of tipping.
